In this forum a few posts down is a thread called Low Carb Diet Links. This post has links and explanations to low carb diet options. I believe there's one in there for vegetarians or near vegetarians. Hope this helps.

Well I am attempting to follow the Insulin Resistance diet. It is about linking and balancing your carbs and protein. Your protein sources don't have to be from meat. You can choose dairy, beans, fish, nuts, and I think there are a few others. I haven't read the book in awhile. There is a link down at the bottom of the forum for the IR diet, probably in the same thread Christina mentioned. Good luck!
