Broiled Tomato Halves
Slice large tomatoes in half and place cut side up on a baking sheet. Sprinkle lightly with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Top each tomato half with a single 1/2-ounce slice of soft white cheese such as fresh mozzarella or farmers cheese, then sprinkle with basil.
Broil about 3 to 4 inches away from heat, until cheese is bubbly and browning on top.
Per serving (one tomato half): 3g carbohydrates; 0g fiber; 4g protein; 2.5g fat; 50 calories
