Personally I think Kerry won it hands down. Bush is just not a good public speaker. He has problems with forming a sentence and staying on track. His accusation of Kerry's flip flop decisions over and over again was getting old fast. He also needs to learn to keep a straight face and not look like he is bored. The faces he kept making last night while Kerry was answering the questions just made him look like a fool to me.

I disagree. I thought Bush pointed out several places where Kerry flip flopped his stance. I did get a kick out of his expressions....I was literally LOL because it made him look so much like my FIL. He has those exact expressions when he gets angry. LOL
I had to watch the debate and write a paper about it for my Logic class. I thought they both brought out a lot of irrelevancies and Kerry had a habit of going back to a previous question rather than answering the current one. That got on my nerves.
I went into this debate as an undecided voter. I still am. I truly don't like either candidate, so that makes it harder to watch these debates. I like it much better when I am biased one way or the other. LOL

I think Kerry won for style and presentation. But I think Bush won for substance. As far as what Kerry said he would do regarding Iraq, President Bush is already doing that. It isn't easy work (like he kept saying), but it's getting done and we are moving toward a free Iraq. Kerry also likes to point out that we don't have any international support in Iraq. We have 29 other countries helping in Iraq. And if Kerry is such a promoter of international cooperation, then why is he saying that the coalition that is now talking to North Korea about nuclear proliferation is wrong? I don't get it.
