I'm pro life. I just could never have an abortion. In my opinion from the moment of conception that is a living human being and I just could not take that life because I decided I didn't want to be a mother. I believe that if a woman thinks she is mature enough and responsible enough to have sex then she is mature and responsible enough to accept anything that comes along with it.

What she said. Although, I am also not for governing what people can and can't do. I am very torn on this issue as well as others. Jana, you know I'd be disowned if my family read this, but although I feel that way about abortion personally, I don't know that I should force my belief on someone else. I know this is irrelevant to the current topic, but I look at it like seat belts. I hate the seat belt law. Yes, I wear my seat belt. Yes, I think they are the smart thing to do. Yes, everyone in my vehicle is buckled before the car moves. However, I don't think anyone should HAVE to wear it, by law. If someone wants to get herself/himself killed in a car accident, that is their right. In the case of abortion, however, it doesn't only affect the mother. There is another person involved. So I don't know. Personally, I feel abortion is wrong. It is the murder of an innocent person. Clear as mud, right? LOL

I agree. I think people should be allowed to make their own choices. I should clarify, I am pro life for myself and pro choice for others. Though I do not believe in partial birth abortions.

I am pro-life all the way around. I don't think that a person should use abortion as a means to relieve themselves of an inconvenient situation. If you put it in knowing full well that you could get pregnant than you should be responsible for your actions. If you can not or do not want to raise the child then give it up for adoption. As I'm sure many of us know, there are plenty of women out there who have infertility issues and may not be able to have children of their own. Why not give these women a chance who want nothing more than to be a wonderful mother?
I agree with you on the seat belt issue too. We could also relate that to motorcycle helmets. If you want to ride a motorcycle and not wear a helmet, fine. But expect that if you splatter your brains all over the highway that your family will not have the right to sue because you weren't wearing a helmet.

I'm PRO-LIFE all the way, for me and for everyone else. Abortion is murder and is wrong. This is one subject I'm very open about.
